This is my third reveal as a guest designer on Lasting Memories Layout Challenges. I can't believe how quickly the time is going by! This week's challenge is "Easter Hunts are On". My son LOVES his Easter egg hunts, so I knew I had some great pictures from last. So, here is the layout I came up with.
See? Some great pictures, right! I sure love this little man. My two kids are 11 years apart, so he always gets the hunt to himself. He usually asks daddy to hide the eggs multiple times. We always use plastic eggs because we never know what the weather will be like in the Pacific Northwest. We fill them with candy, change, and a golden egg with cash. He's not a big sweets guy, but he loves the money because he saves it to buy Legos. This year he can barely wait for the hunt!
To create this layout I used a challenge sketch from Sketch-N-Scrap.
I just found this blog, and I loved the sketch and what their design team was doing with it. I just had to have some fun with it!
I just bought this set of sparkly, green Thickers. I knew I wanted to use them on this layout. I love how the greens, yellows, and aquas all work together to make a great "boy" page.
I love creating clusters of embellishments on my pages. This wooden nickel, the enamel dots, and the brown twine all make me happy!
I had to use the picture with my son's bare feet. To me, bare feet and Spring go hand-in-hand.
Thank you so much for checking out my latest layout. Head on over to Lasting Memories to join the fun! I can't wait to see everyone's creations.
