My Love

I don't often get to take a good picture of my wonderful husband, Troy, so when I do, I make sure to scrap it.

I used a sketch from Stick It Down. I loved the simplicity of it, and the straight lines. I really like straight lines!
I also used a challenge from Paper Issues FB Group. The challenge was a Pinspire me board.

I played off of the reds, blacks and whites, and the boxes that created the picture collage.
And last, I used this page for a challenge from SG Scrap Squad. It was called the "All I Want to Do is Scrapbook" challenge; use any theme, size, colors. Easy!

I used red glitter Thickers for the title of this layout. I love the deep red color! I framed the picture of my husband with white cardstock, and inked the edges with red Quick Quotes chalk ink. I used the same ink to edge most of the papers on the page.

I love using my white Quick Quotes chalk ink! Every time I use black paper that ink comes out. I also used my white Signo pen to add some journaling to the bottom of my page.

I was able to use four different patterned paper on my page. I love this simple layout that says so much.

Thank you for taking a look at my page. Please leave me some blog love and let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

Real Life Happens

I absolutely adore this picture of my son. It shows what real life actually looks like with a baby. It's not all perfect, and I love showcasing that in my albums too.

I used a sketch from Stick It Down for this layout. I loved the simple single-page sketch. I followed it pretty closely, adding or changing this where I wanted too. I used my new Noel Mignon kit for this layout.

Sticking with the "life is messy" theme I had going in my journaling, I ripped the edges of the layered paper, and inked them for emphasis. A bit of washi tape and some simple enamel dots was all that was needed here.

I love using multiple alphas on my pages. I like how the title turned out.

This wood 'Love' was perfect for this page. Some more washi tape, a simple gold heart, and some dots, and that was all the embellishment this page called for. I love how simple and sweet it turned out.

Thank you for looking over my layout. Please leave me some blog love and let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

Mommy's Little Helper

Good morning everyone! Today I have a layout featuring my favorite little man; my son William. He's nine now, and I just love looking at his pictures from when he was tiny. The time goes by so fast! When he was little (and even now actually) he loved to help me around the house. The broom was one of his favorite "toys". Gotta love our little helpers.

I used a sketch from Stick it Down for this challenge. It is the March single sketch challenge. I had a blast playing with it. I used bits and pieces from a summer kit from Noel Mignon. I love how long her kits last!

I used glitter Thickers for the tittle. I love how many colors they come in! I think I have most every color too. I used regular sewing thread to the button embellishment and to outline the title.

This "So Very Thankful..." card was actually the bottom of a tag. I didn't want the entire tag, so I just cut it off to use the saying.

I love using banners to add to a layout. They offer a lot of simplistic flair. I used one banner for my journaling, which I did by hand this time. I used more of that regular sewing thread to make a sloppy loop and add some color. I always use my photos for color inspiration. Can you find the white, green, teal and blue in the pictures?

I hope you enjoyed looking over my layout. Please leave me some blog love and let me know your thoughts.

You Make Me Happy!

I fell in love with this picture the moment I saw it. My daughter takes awesome Selfies! And my granddaughter....I adore that toothy grin. So sweet!

I used a sketch from Stick It Down to create this layout. I love a simple sketch that I can add to and make my own. I used the Balboa kit from Noel Mignon for this layout. I love all e bright colors. This was a fun page to make.

See those little teeth? So adorable!

I fussy cut the hearts from another paper and then outlined them with a pink pen. The sequins were from my stash. I like to add them for a bit of shine.

These Thickers are bright and glittery; perfect for a girl page. All of this just makes me happy!

Thank you for looking over my layout. Please join my blog and leave me some comments. I'd love to know what you think of my "work".

Together We Are Family

My daughter took this selfie of herself and her family. So cute! I just had to scrap it.

To create this layout I used a sketch from Stick It Down . I loved how simple the sketch was and how I was able to add things to it as I went.

I used supplies from my Noel Mignon kit called Balboa. The chalk board papers and bright colors were so much fun to play with.

The butterflies were in the reverse side of the pink striped paper. I fussy cut them and then pop dotted them to stand out. I added some clear Stickles to the bodies of the butterflies to add some bling.

Enamel dots make everything so much more fun. I love the little pops of color they add. I also used a white Gelly Roll pen to add the date and some doodle detail around the sides.

The glitter trim has been in my stash for awhile. It worked perfectly with the colors from the kit.

Thank you for checking out my layout. Please take the time to become a member of my blog. I'd love to read any comments you have. Thanks!
