Adventure

I love scrapping pictures of my daughter and her family. These pictures are of my daughter, her husband, and my granddaughter at the park. So sweet!

Most of the papers for this page came from the Echo Park Hugs &Kisses collection. I love the pinks and reds!
I used a sketch from Sketch~N~Scrap for this layout. I changed it up a bit and added an extra picture.

I love using flair on my on my pages. This piece of flair has been in my stash for awhile. I'm glad I was able to use it. I also used gold rub-ons from Jubilee all over the page. Lots of fun to work with!

I thought about adding mist, or doodles to this white space, but in the end I decided to leave the white to give the eyes a break; a resting place. I used gold ink to edge all my papers, and I also used it to stamp the date in the page.

I adore these little crochet hearts. So cute! I also added a gold rub-on heart, some little confetti hearts, and some gold enamel hearts. Lots of fun in a little corner of the page!

I hope you enjoyed looking at my page. Please leave me some blog love and let me know your thoughts. If you can, please join my blog as well. Thanks!

Daddy's Little Girl

I love pictures of my granddaughter. These pictures of her with her daddy are so sweet!

I created this layout for a challenge on the FB group SG Scrap Squad. I loved the sketch that they supplied for the challenge. I used papers and embellishments that have been in my stash for a long time. So much fun!

I used three types of alphas for this title. Two types of Thickers and one type of letter sticker. I used several colors of pens to add detail to the page as well.

The arrows on the page are rub-ons. They are adorable! I also used wood veneer hearts, enamel dots, and enamel hearts to add fun detail to the page. Love!

There is so much happy on this layout. I adore all the sweetness in the pictures. Everything on the page just adds to the sweetness.

Thank you for taking a look at my layout. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

Cupcake!

I love scrapping pictures of my daughter, Crystyl, and my granddaughter, Meila. They are both just adorable!

I used papers and embellishments from my past Noel Mignon kits. I adore her kits! To create this page I used a sketch from ScrapMuch? to create this page. It's another adorable Laura Whitaker sketch. My favorite! Due to my busy life, I didn't get this page submitted to ScrapMuch? in time for the challenge deadline, but that's okay, I adore this page!

This paper was perfect for this layout. I love the little blocks of happy thoughts. I used a pink ZigWriter pen to write some quick journaling, and to doodle on the page. This little wood veneer '&' has been in my stash for awhile. I'm so happy I was finally able to use it!

Aren't those girls adorable? I used pink, glitter Thickers for the title. I had these crochet hearts in my stash and had to use them on this page. They are perfect!

The heart background paper is exactly what I wanted for this page. I love the soft pink with the black and grey accents.

Thanks for taking a look at my layout. Please leave me your thoughts, and if you can, please join my blog.

Sweet Miss Meila

Pictures of my sweet granddaughter are some of my favorite things to scrapbook. How adorable is this little girl? I just can't resist her!

I used bits and pieces from past Noel Mignon kits for this layout. I picked the papers and colors to match Meila's outfit in the picture. Pink and Black together are so much fun! I created this page for a challenge on a FB group SG Scrap Squad. The challenge was to scraplift a beautiful layout by another talented scrapbooker. I loved her layout and this is what I made from her inspiration.

I could not resist pairing silver with all this pink and black. This bow has been calling to me for a long time, and it was finally time to use it! I paired it with other silver accents throughout the page, including this adorable little heart stickers.

I also used silver Thickers for the title. Silver is my favorite metallic color, so I was happy to get to play with it. I love using mist on my pages. I've just started being brave enough to put large drops on my page. I like how the white Dyllusions Color Mist contrasted with the black cardstock. In this picture you can see some of the luscious layers of patterned paper that I used. It was so much fun to put them all together. I try to doodle on my pages, and on this page I used black, white, and pink pens.

These little silver heart stickers were too adorable to pass up! I also used enamel dots and hearts to round out the embellishments.

I found this little silver heart clip in my stash and just threw it on the corner of the picture. Such a good detail to add! I also used a piece of flair that I found in my ever growing flair collection.

I hope you enjoyed looking at my layout as much as I enjoyed creating it. Please leave me your thoughts, and join my blog if you can. Thank you!

My Girls

My daughter and granddaughter make me so happy. I love seeing my daughter in this new little face. It's amazing watching your grandchildren grow. So much fun!

I used a sketch from Stuck?! Sketches for this layout. Laura Whitaker sketches are so much fun! I used my Noel Mignon kit for most of this page, but also pulled a few things from my stash.

I love these gold Thickers! I wish I had bought a few packets when I found them, but unfortunately, I didn't. I was so happy I had enough to make this title. I used my handwriting on this page because I know that one day my kids and grandkids will want to see it. I try to use it once in awhile instead of typing my journaling.

I love the colors on this page! I've been wanting to use these papers, and they were perfect for this picture. I used Heidi Swapp Color mist for the splatter and the rings on this page. For the teal splatter I tapped the stem of the spray applicator to disperse the spray. For the rings I put some primrose spray on a plate and put the end of a cup into it. I placed it on several areas of the page.

These flowers have been in my stash for a very long time. I'm so happy to be able to finally use them. They were perfect for this page! Everything about this page makes me happy.

Thank you for looking at my layout. Please leave me some blog love and let me know your thoughts.

'Baba' Time

My granddaughter, Meila, is absolutely adorable! Every time she comes to our house she heads to the bathroom and asks to take a 'Baba'; bath. She loves her baths! I had to snap these adorable pictures of her enjoying one of her favorite past times.

I used a sketch from ScrapMuch? for this layout. This is one of my favorite challenge sites, and I try to do their challenges monthly if I possibly can. As usual, this sketch was done by Laura Whitaker. I love her sketches!

I used my Noel Mignon kit for this layout; as usual. I love her kits! The banner was in my stash and has been waiting for me to use it. I adore this little tulle flower. I knew I had to use it on this page.

Don't you just love the look on Little Miss Meila's face? She's such a cute little stinker.

I used layers of patterned papers for this page. I like to be able to use different patterns when I can. They add interest in an otherwise simple layout. I used blue glitter Thickers for the title. These crochet hearts have been in my stash for awhile too. They were perfect for adding that girly touch to the page.

I try to use my own handwriting on my pages once in awhile. I'm not a huge fan of my handwriting, but I know it will be special to my children at some point. I searched all through my stash for this perfect journaling card and nearly jumped for joy when I located it. It's the little things some days.

I hope you enjoyed looking over my layout. Please let me know your thoughts. While you're here, please join my blog. I'd love to have you as a new member! Thanks.

Deck the Halls

I got my new Noel Mignon Kit this week, and it's all Christmas! My favorite!! I pulled out my past Christmas pictures and started scrapping.

For this layout I used a Laura Whitaker sketch from ScrapMuch?. I adore her sketches!

I admit, I combined this month's Noel Mignon Kit with everything I had remaining from last year's Christmas kit, and tons of other Christmas stuff I had in my stash. I love Christmas! This title is a puffy title from Pink Paislee. It was perfect! I used lots of layers and patterns to create this page.

This Christmas emphemera is tons of fun. I love these little ornaments. I pop dotted one to make it stand out more.

The circle under all the layers is thick glitter paper. I love the way it shimmers. I used papers that pulled out the pinks in my granddaughter's outfit, but still complimented the Christmas colors.

I hope you enjoy looking at my layout. Please leave me some blog love and let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

Princess Meila

My granddaughter is adorable! Her Grandma Jozette made this cute dress for Meila, and she looked so cute in it. When I saw the pictures I knew I had to use them in a layout.

I created this page using a sketch from Stuck?! Sketches. Another Laura Whitaker Sketch...my favorite!

I started this page by using Faber-Castelle Gelatos in three different colors of pink to create the pink sunburst. I used a make-up brush to pull the colors across the page. I love the effect it created.

I used papers from Kaiser Craft from their Secret Garden collection for this layout. I love how soft and "girly" the line is.

Here you can see the Gelatos streaked across the page. The butterflies and flowers were emphemera from the Secret Garden collection. I used Stickles in Star Dust on parts of the butterflies and flowers to create more of the fairy effect.

I inked the edges of the papers in Quick Quotes chalk in Feather Gray. I also used two different types of Thickers - one in a soft blue and other in metallic silver.

I love all the layers in this page. Such cute detail.

I used pop-dots to make the flowers and butterflies stand out from the page. I bent the wings of the butterflies to give them a bit more dimension.

I hope you enjoyed looking at my layout. Please leave me some blog love and let me know your thoughts. Thank you!

Love You

Scrapping pictures of my beautiful granddaughter makes me happy. I adore this little girl!

I found this adorable picture of Meila in a boa that her Grandma Jozette took of her. I knew I had to use these feathers from Bella Bvld for this page. I created the page using a challenge sketch from a Facebook group I participate in, Scrap N Share

I like the simple lines that allowed me to change things up a bit.

See these feathers? Aren't they adorable? I've had them in my stash for a long time just waiting for a good way to use them.

I bought these doiles awhile ago and I'm so glad I finally got to use some. They are so little and adorable. I also used some of my Washi tape. I have a ton of it, but rarely remember to use it. This layout seemed like a perfect one to use it on. Along the edges of my layout I used 1" strips of paper and mitered the edges. I like the little bubbles along the paper. The enamel dots I used play off this paper really well.

This little kraft tag was too cute not to use. I used a teal pen to write a small bit of journaling. I love the little accents of gold and added more gold in the enamel dots and title.

I found these Thickers in my stash. They made a perfectly simple title. The heart and the arrow lines came from the same set.

Thank you for looking at my layout. Please let me know your thoughts.

Dinner Time

Good afternoon! This is my last layout that I completed back in May. It's nice to finally get it posted!!

These are pictures of my darling granddaughter, Meila, having dinner. She was so adorably chubby!

I used a sketch from ScrapMuch? for this layout. I also used my Noel Mignon kit for the paper and embellishments.

I loved this little mason jar clip the moment I saw it. So cute! I hand sew these on my pages to get them to stay in place. I find that works better than adhesive. I added the little sparkly enamel dot in the heart. I don't normally use many bows, but this page called for one. So cute!

Meila really gets into her food. I love this series of pictures. I added lots of layers of patterned paper to show these pictures off. I kept the most distracting patterns farther from the pictures.

These pink glitter Thickers are perfectly "girly". I added parts of circles at the top and bottom of the page. These help offset the squares on the page. I love using flair and other embellishments to draw the eye to things I want to be seen.

Thank you for looking at my layout. Please leave me some blog love and let me know your thoughts.

Our Silly Girl

Good afternoon everyone! I think my latest layouts has to be one of my very favorites that I've done in a long time. Once again it features pictures of my adorable granddaughter, Meila.

I used my latest Noel Mignon kit for this layout. I love the yellow and pink together, and they go perfect with Meila's little jacket. I used Sketch 432 from Scrapbook Challenges for this layout. I was able to use my new Canon Selphy to print the pictures in the sizes I wanted (after a bit of trial and error). I love the way everything just came together.

I used two pins that I had in my stash to make these adorable flags. The flair was also something I had in my stash. I love all the buttons and enamel dots together.

The title couldn't be more perfect! These were in a set of Thickers with all sorts of colors. I got lucky enough to have all the right letters in the pink and yellow colors. Well, I actually didn't have enough of the letter "L", but I sacrificed a letter "E" to make one. You can't tell the difference when you look at it.

I added this little rubon in the lower right corner. It's barely visible, but just enough to make a small statement.

My journaling strips are pieces of washi tape. I used a bright pink pen to write on the strips and then let them air dry so they wouldn't wipe off. I love how it turned out! I'll definitely be using that method again. I knew that if I messed up on my writing I'd be able to just take the tape off and try again. Ahhh..the freedom!

I hope you enjoyed looking at my layout as much as I enjoyed making it. Please leave me some blog lovin' and let me know what you think. Thank you!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Good afternoon everyone! Today I'm bringing you a layout I did this weekend featuring another of my favorite subjects; my granddaughter, Meila. She's just too cute! I've had this picture in my photo box for awhile and was just waiting for the right papers to use with it.

I used my new Noel Mignon kit for this layout. I love all the girly colors! The sketch I used came from ScrapMuch? . It's another Laura Whitaker sketch; one of my favorite sketch designers. I flipped the sketch to be able to use my photo. After my layout was done I wished I had put the photo in the lower right-hand corner so Meila wasn't looking off the page, but oh well, hind-sight... I still love it!

I chose to print my journaling on purple paper this time. I really wanted to get more purple in the layout, and this was a great way for me to do it.

These tickets are so much fun! I was thrilled to be able to use them.

This title is a chipboard title that I bought at recent scrapbooking convention. It is made of chipboard. I inked it up with Quick Quotes chalk ink in Very Berry. I then used a Versa Mark stamp all over it and covered it in Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel. I LOVE that stuff! After using my heat gun to melt it, I put Versa Mark on it again and more Embossing Enamel. to make it extra thick. I love how it turned out. I could play with this stuff all day long!

How cute is that baby? Adorable, right?
I had this tag in my stash for awhile. It's one I played with a long time ago. I embossed and inked it, and just threw it back in my stash. When I pulled out this picture and saw the sketch I remembered it. Let's here it for being organized and being able to find it again!

I hope you enjoyed looking at my layout as much as I enjoyed making it. Please leave me some blog love and let me know your thoughts. Thanks!
