Christmas Traditions

I'm loving scrapping my old Christmas pictures. It gets me in the holiday spirit.

I used a Laura Whitaker sketch from Scrap Much?. I haven't done a two-page layout in awhile, but I alays have so many picture from Christmas that I had plenty for this page.

I love doodling on my pages. I used a Brick color pen from recollections. I use some flair, buttons, and chipboard to make this little embellishment cluster.

My Noel Mignon Kit came with som cute rub-ons. I used one on this picture of my husband and son hugging our tree. I addd more buttons, chipboard and enamel dots.

I adore alphas! These white glitter ones make me giddy! I used my red gelato to add a hint of red to the white card stock.

I created this little cluster of embellishments to cover a journaling error. There's always a way to fix problems.

I love this white, glittery twine and was happy to be able to use it in this page set.

I hope you enjoyed my layout. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

Deck the Halls

I got my new Noel Mignon Kit this week, and it's all Christmas! My favorite!! I pulled out my past Christmas pictures and started scrapping.

For this layout I used a Laura Whitaker sketch from ScrapMuch?. I adore her sketches!

I admit, I combined this month's Noel Mignon Kit with everything I had remaining from last year's Christmas kit, and tons of other Christmas stuff I had in my stash. I love Christmas! This title is a puffy title from Pink Paislee. It was perfect! I used lots of layers and patterns to create this page.

This Christmas emphemera is tons of fun. I love these little ornaments. I pop dotted one to make it stand out more.

The circle under all the layers is thick glitter paper. I love the way it shimmers. I used papers that pulled out the pinks in my granddaughter's outfit, but still complimented the Christmas colors.

I hope you enjoy looking at my layout. Please leave me some blog love and let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

Crushing

My beautiful daughter and her husband take many selfies. I love when I get a copy of them. They are just adorable! This one made me happy and I knew I wanted to scrap it.

I created this layout for a challenge from ScrapMuch?. Laura Whitaker is one of my favorite sketch designers. She always gives great guidelines, but still allows freedom to add more details.

I also created this layout for the November 15th Picture This! Challenge. The challenge was to use 1 picture + card stock + gold. This layout is perfect for the challenge!

I used papers from the Amy Tangerine Plus One line. I started out with the layout being black and yellow, but then I put the orange with it and the whole thing changed. I love the way it turned out! For this page I used two different Quick Quotes chalk inks - Rusty Nail and Coal Miner. I love their ink!

I used a black Zig Memory Writer to doodle stitch marks on the black and white paper. It added just a bit to the layout.

I had these cute gold Heidi Swapp words and stars in my stash. I love how they worked with the layout. I also sprayed the camera paper with Gold Heidi Swapp Color Shine.

This tag is from the Amy Tangerine line as well. Too cute! The kraft tag is a sticker from the same line. I used it to add the date of the picture. These stars are so adorable!

Thank you for taking a look at my layout. Please leave me some blog love and let me know your thoughts.

**Thank you Scrap Much? for featuring my layout on December 3rd. I'm honored!!

Trying Solid Foods

Good morning everyone. It's been a long time since I've done a two-page layout, so this one was a bit difficult for me to do. But, I found a great sketch by one of my favorite sketch designers, and I had way too many pictures to fit on a one-page layout, so I went for it.

I used a sketch from Scrap Much? that was designed by Laura Whitaker. I adore her sketches and just can't resist working with them. I used papers from my Noel Mignon kit for this page as well.

I covered chipboard stars in chalk ink, then used a Versa Mark stamp on them. I then sprinkled them with ultra-thick embossing powder and heated them up. They have great color and shine.

I'm a big fan of using multiple types of alphas on my layouts. I have plenty to choose from, that's for sure!

Isn't that face adorable?

These stars made perfect, simple accents.

I hope you enjoyed looking over my layout. I enjoy getting the chance to do a two-page layout once in awhile, but overall, I'm good with going back to one-pagers. It's difficult to make the pages flow the way I want. I like how this one turned out those. Please leave me your thoughts. Thanks!

Sweet Perfection

I adore my granddaughter! She's just adorable. This is a picture from earlier in the year, so of course she's much bigger now, but she's still adorable.

I created this LO using Noel Mignon's Two for Tea kit, along with some other things in my stash.

This sweet little face gives me such inspiration. This picture had to have soft, girly colors. I used the teal and pink from the photo and added splashes of it over the LO. These Queen & Company felt flowers were too cute not to use them.

I recently bought some silver Mr. Huey's mist. I used it to spray the doily and spray around the background. I'm loving it! I added bits of silver with this metal heart and some My Mind's Eye rub-ons. This Jillibean title card has been in my stash for awhile.

I used a sketch from ScrapMuch? To create this LO. I love all the opportunities for layers!

Thank you for taking a look at my LO. Please leave me some love and let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

Can I Drive? No?

The moment I saw these pictures I fell in love with them. My granddaughter is adorable! The look on her little face just shows what a character she is. So, of course, I had to scrap them.

To create this layout I used a sketch from ScrapMuch? . I turned. The sketch sideways and added a couple pictures. The sketch worked better with my pictures turned this way.

I used my current kit from Noel Mignon. Most of the papers were from Fancy Pants, their Burlap and Bouquets line. I love the colors in the kit! I also had a 6x6 paper pad in the same line, and it found the paper with the flowers, I fussy cut around the flowers to create the great circle accent behind the pictures. Because the papers were so busy with design I decided to keep the embellishments simple. A little burlap tag, a couple flair, and some enamel dots. I really like the way it turned out.

Her little disappointed face is just so adorable!

And that little grin? Gets me every time!

I've been waiting for the perfect place to use this flair. It perfect for this layout!

I hope you enjoyed my layout. I would love to hear your comments. Thanks so much for stopping by.
