Together

I'm loving getting these older photos scrapped! These pictures are from 1996. My daughter was 1.5yrs old...I had just turned 21. Wow! I was a baby myself!

I used a sketch from My Scraps & More. I love how their sketches are simple enough to leave room to play with. This sketch called for just one picture, but I wanted to add two, and the sketch left plenty of room for that.

I also used papers and embellishments from my new kit, Carousel, from Noel Mignon. I'm loving this kit!

The title for this is a Heidi Swapp embellishment. I love how sheer and light they are. The pink butterfly can me in the kit, but I wanted more, so I pulled more out of my stash and sprayed them with Heidi Swapp's Color Shine. I used buttons and bling, and more Jenni Bowlin sequins for accents. So much fun!

This corrugated word literally made me smile. I love the texture it adds.
I tend to use strips for my journaling. I like the way these strips match the strips of paper in the sketch. Inking the edges makes them stand out nicely.

I loved making this layout. I hope you enjoyed looking at it.
